  • Internal Team Application: BYF is built specifically for our youth team members and leaders to coordinate ministry activities, rehearsals, and setlists.
  • Authorized Access: Accounts are granted for active team members. Keep your credentials private and do not share account access outside the team.
  • Team Content & Tools: Shared setlists, stems, chord scans, and AI features are provided for internal practice and ministry coordination.
  • Respectful Conduct: Maintain encouraging and respectful interactions during team quizzes, chats, and scheduling RSVPs.

By accessing or using BYF (“BYF App”), you agree to follow these internal guidelines.

BYF is a private, internal application created specifically for the members, leaders, and volunteers of our youth team and worship ministry.

By logging in or using the app, you agree to comply with these internal team guidelines to maintain a secure and collaborative environment for our ministry.

Description of Team App

Description of Team Features

BYF provides specialized tools to streamline our youth team workflows, including:

  • Team member directory and role-based permissions (RBAC)
  • Service scheduling, worship setlist management, and rehearsal availability rostering
  • Internal live quizzes, scoreboards, and team announcements
  • AI team assistance and text extraction (powered by Firebase AI / Google Gemini)
  • Audio stem separation for worship practice (via Modal) and OCR lyric scanning (ML Kit)
  • Push notifications and rehearsal availability updates
Eligibility & Access

Team Authorization

Access is granted exclusively to authorized youth team members, worship team volunteers, and ministry leaders. Accounts must be registered using valid email addresses approved by team administrators.

Accounts & Security

User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account login details. Do not share your login credentials with non-team members or attempt to bypass device security attestation (Firebase App Check).

Internal Practice Media

Internal Content & Resources

Songs, setlists, chord charts, notes, audio practice tracks, and comments uploaded to BYF are shared for internal team practice and ministry coordination.

Team members agree to use shared practice resources strictly for internal ministry preparation and not for external redistribution.

Practice Tools

Audio Stems & Practice Tools

Audio stem separation (via Modal) and OCR document scanning (via ML Kit) are provided to assist team members in preparing for worship services. Please use these tools responsibly for team practice files.

AI Productivity

AI Features & Productivity

AI assistance features (powered by Firebase AI / Google Gemini) provide automated suggestions and text formatting to save time for team leaders. Suggestions are provided as helpful aids and should be reviewed prior to finalized scheduling.

Quizzes & Community

Interactive Quizzes

Interactive quizzes are meant for team building and learning during team gatherings. Participation should be fair and friendly.

Moderation & Feedback

Content Moderation

In-app reporting tools allow team members to flag inappropriate content or system issues. Team leaders review reports to ensure the app remains a positive space for everyone.

Acceptable Use

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Share internal team schedules or private contact info with unauthorized external parties
  • Attempt to bypass App Check attestation or authentication controls
  • Interfere with app operations or automated team tools
Backend Services

Backend Infrastructure

BYF uses cloud services from Firebase, Appwrite, Modal, Resend, and Emailable to deliver reliable storage, messaging, and security.

Admin Access & Disclaimers

BYF is provided as an internal team tool on an “AS IS” basis. Team administrators reserve the right to update features or manage member access as team roles change.
